That Special Day
When I first set my eyes on you
I was not sure just what to do
And when I heard you say my name
Your sweet voice set my heart aflame
Invited you on our first date
Your mom said "Don't stay out to late"
You're the one I had decided
I was so nervous and excited
When everyone saw you with me
They all said "No, This cannot be!"
You smiled and looked the other way
You did not care what they would say
When dad approved and tipped his hat
